Mobile Banking

With Mobile Banking you can transfer funds, get histories, view balances, send messages, and view graphs.  You can also find Branch, SURF ATM and CU Service Center locations.

For existing Online Banking users, your username and access code will be the same on your mobile device.  Not signed up for Online Access yet? Visit our home page and click ‘Register’ in the Online Banking Login box to register for Online Banking.

Mobile Banking Security Enhancement

In an effort to protect your login credentials, we have modified our Mobile Banking applications so your full username will no longer be displayed in plain text on your mobile device.  Only the last 3 characters of your username will now appear.  If you already have our Mobile Banking application, you can activate this functionality by:

  • For Android:  Open the Mobile Banking app, click the ‘Setup’ button at the bottom, enter your username and password in the fields provided and hit ‘Sign On’.
  • For iPhone/iPads:  Open the Mobile Banking app, click the ‘About’ button at the bottom, then hit the ‘Back’ button.  It will say ‘Loading Presets’ and then will take you back to the login screen.

If you have trouble getting either option to work, you can uninstall the application and then download and install it again from the App Store or Google Play. 

For Android and iPhone

Now you can take us with you on your smart phone!  Just sign up for our Online Banking and you’re automatically enrolled for Mobile Banking.  Visit the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and search for Bangor Federal to download the app for your iPhone or Android device. 


Other Smart Phones

Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Java apps are available by visiting https://www.mfmnow.com/bangorfederal from your mobile device.  There currently is not an app available for the latest Windows OS.  We recommend you use the WAP version below if you have a newer Windows phone.


Mobile Browser (WAP Version)

Don’t have a smart phone?  That’s okay!  Just go to http://m.bangorfederal.com from your mobile browser and click the Mobile Banking link to login.  You will need to be first signed up for Online Banking in order to access it.  


SMS Text Message**

Go to http://m.bangorfederal.com and login to the Mobile Browser WAP version.  Then click the ‘SMS settings’ link at the bottom to enroll your mobile phone for SMS Text Message account access.  Once enrolled, the short code is 86020.

Codes for SMS Text Messaging are as follows:

B = Balances

H = History

H acct = History for specific acct (ex. H S71)*

X from to amount = Transfer funds (ex. X S00 S71 50.00)*

HELP = List of Codes for SMS Text Banking

STOP = To Cancel SMS Text Banking

*When specifying an account for a history or transfer you will need to precede the account trailer with S for Share Accounts and L for Loans. 

**Straight Talk phones do not currently support 5-digit short codes, so you will be unable to use the SMS Text Message functionality at this time.   Text messaging fees may apply, contact your cell phone provider to determine applicable fees.
