Board of Directors and Volunteers
The Board of Directors of Bangor Federal Credit Union is comprised of volunteers that are elected by the membership of the Credit Union and serve for 3-year terms. The Supervisory Committee is comprised of five volunteers. Those committee volunteers are appointed by the Board of Directors as openings become available.
Robert W., CHAIRMAN
Robert has been actively involved with Bangor FCU since 1986, initially on the Supervisory Committee and later a Board member. He is active in the Greater Bangor Area Chapter of Credit Unions and serves as Bangor Federal Credit Union's Security Officer. He has a background in law enforcement.
Ernest "E.K." K., VICE CHAIR
E.K. has been a Board Member of Bangor Federal Credit Union since 1995. He is a past Chairman of the Supervisory Committee. He brings with him extensive experience in the insurance industry.
Mary Lou A., SECRETARY
A former member of the Supervisory Committee, Mary Lou has been with the Bangor Federal Credit Union since 1996. She was appointed to the Board in 2003. She comes to us with a background in bookkeeping and office management.
Deborah L., TREASURER
Debbie joined the Supervisory Committee in 2004 and was appointed to the Board in 2008. She is the City Manager for the City of Bangor.
Janet C., DIRECTOR
Board Director and member of the Facilities Committee, owner/operator of Bangor Business and Tax Services, member of National Association of Tax Professionals, Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent, Accounting Degree from the University of Maine.
William H., DIRECTOR
Bill is a long-time credit union member who has extensive experience in the banking industry. He was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2014 and then to the Board in January of 2020.
Roberta D., DIRECTOR AND CHAIR OF THE SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE
Roberta was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2008. She was appointed to the Board in November 2014. She is a long-time credit union member who worked in the healthcare industry for a non-profit company.
Chris G., SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE
Chris is a long-time credit union member who works in the industrial supply business. He was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2022.
Rod H., SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE
Rod is a long-time credit union member and a local business management professional. He has been active in local politics and was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2014.
John C., SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE
John is a long-time credit union member who retired from the healthcare industry in biomedical engineering. He was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2014.
