Board of Directors and Volunteers
The Board of Directors of Bangor Federal Credit Union is comprised of volunteers that are elected by the membership of the Credit Union and serve for 3 year terms. The Supervisory Committee is comprised of five volunteers. Those committee volunteers are appointed by the Board of Directors as openings become available.
Robert Welch, CHAIRMAN
Mr. Welch has been actively involved with Bangor FCU since 1986, initially on the Supervisory Committee and later a Board member. He is active in the Greater Bangor Area Chapter of Credit Unions and serves as Bangor Federal Credit Union's Security Officer. Mr. Welch has a background in law enforcement.
Jeff Cammack, VICE CHAIRMAN
Jeff joined the Supervisory Committee in 2004, and was appointed to the Board in 2006. Jeff is the former Fire Chief of the City of Bangor.
Mary Lou Armes, SECRETARY
A former member of the Supervisory Committee, Mary Lou Armes has been with the Bangor Federal Credit Union since 1996. She was appointed to the Board in 2003. She comes to us with a background in bookkeeping and office management.
Ernest "E.K." Khoury, DIRECTOR
Mr. Khoury has been a Board Member of Bangor Federal Credit Union since 1995. He is a past Chairman of the Supervisory Committee. Mr. Khoury brings with him extensive experience in the insurance industry.
Deborah Cyr, TREASURER
Debbie joined the Supervisory Committee in 2004, and was appointed to the Board in 2008. She is the Finance Director for the City of Bangor; she also teaches Accounting at Husson College.
Janet Capponi, DIRECTOR
Janet joined the Supervisory Committee in 2007, and was appointed to the Board in 2008. She is a long-time member of the credit union, an accounting professional, and a local business owner.
Roberta Downey, DIRECTOR AND SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE
Roberta was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2008. She was appointed to the Board in November 2014. She is a long time credit union member who works in the healthcare industry for a non-profit company.
William Hogan, CHAIR OF THE SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE
Bill is a long-time credit union member who has extensive experience in the banking industry. He was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2014.
D’arcy Main-Boyington, SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE
D’arcy was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2008. She is the Economic Development Director for the City of Brewer and a long time credit union member.
Rod Hathaway, SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE
Rod is a long-time credit union member and a local business management professional. He has been active in local politics and was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2014.
John Chase, SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE
John is a long-time credit union member who works in the healthcare industry in biomedical engineering. He was appointed to the Supervisory Committee in 2014.
