Q: How do I open an account online?

A: Click ‘Open An Account ’ in the blue bar at the top of this page. Select your status from the list of options to continue.

Q: How do I apply for a credit card online?

Q: How do I view my BFCU Visa Credit Card account online?

A: You can access your Our Best Visa Credit Card right through our regular Online Banking product (login or register from our home page). In there, you will be able to setup eAlerts, access transaction history, categorize transactions to view spending patterns, make real-time payments, make advances against your credit limit, and more. You will also have access to your BFCU Visa Credit Card account through our Mobile Banking and iTalk Banking products.

Q: How do I view my e-Statements online?

A: Login to your Online Banking using the login box on our Home Page. Once logged into Online Banking, click the ‘eStatements’ tab to access your statements. This will give you access to your Account statements and Visa Credit Card statements.

Q: How do I access Bill Pay through your website?

A: Login to your Online Banking using the login box on our Home Page. Once logged into Online Banking, click the ‘Bill Pay’ tab. You will be taken to the login page for Bill Pay. Here you can login to Bill Pay or click ‘Enroll Now’ to enroll for the service.

Q: How do I sign up for Mobile Banking?

A: To have Mobile Banking, you must first have registered for Online Banking. If you’re not already registered for Online Banking, you can do so by clicking the ‘Register’ link in the Online Banking Login box located on our Home page. If you’ve already registered for Online Banking, you can visit the Google Play store or the Apple App Store to download Bangor Federal’s Mobile Banking application, or access the links from our Mobile Banking page. Once you have installed the application on your Android or Apple device, you can login using the same username and password you created for your Online Banking.

Q: Where can I find rates on your website?

A: Rates for deposit accounts are located under the ‘Deposit Accounts’ option on the menu bar. Click ‘Account Rates.’ Rates for Visa Credit Cards are listed on the ‘Credit Cards’ page under the ‘Loans & Credit Cards’ option on the menu bar. Rates for loans are under the ’Loan Rates’ page under the ‘Loans & Credit Cards’ option on the menu bar. We do not list rates for First Mortgages or Mobile Homes on Land because rates changes can change daily. You can find out more information about the types of Mortgage loans we offer by clicking ‘Mortgage Loans’ under the ‘Loans & Credit Cards’ option on the menu bar.
