Bangor Federal Credit Union is currently seeking an Assistant Branch Manager for the Hogan Road location and a Member Services Representative for the Brewer location.

The Assistant Branch Manager serves as the vault supervisor; supervises and supports the Member Services staff, including Teller I, Teller II, and Member Services Representatives; and assists in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of all Member Services staff at that location. The Assistant Branch Manager must represent the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner at all times. The chosen candidate must be member focused and team oriented, living the “People helping People” philosophy.

Additional requirements include:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of similar supervisory experience, Credit Union experience is preferred.
  • Proven ability to train new Tellers and continually coach and develop Member Services staff.
  • Ability and willingness to offer products and services for enhanced member service.
  • High Standards of Honesty, Integrity and Professionalism. Positive, friendly, professional attitude and appearance.
  • Strong communication skills and computer knowledge are necessary as well at the ability to multi-task.

 

The Member Services Representative for the Brewer location will assist members and potential members with their Credit Union needs; explain services, set up new accounts, respond to problems, and direct members to the appropriate people. Member Services Representatives must possess thorough knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and processing systems and be able to cross sell products and services to meet member needs. The Member Services Representative must represent the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner at all times. The chosen candidate must be member focused and team oriented, living the “People helping People” philosophy.

  • A minimum of 2-3 years financial service experience, including teller training, credit union experience is preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to offer products and services for enhanced member service.
  • High standards of honesty, integrity and professionalism. Positive, friendly, professional attitude and appearance.
  • Strong communication skills and computer knowledge are necessary as well at the ability to multi-task.
