Tap2Local allows your business to accept payments through tap to pay, payment links, and QR codes directly within the Bangor Federal Credit Union Mobile Banking app. This convenience eliminates the need for additional hardware allowing you to easily accept payment both in-store, and on-the-go.
Tap2Local uses mobile technology and card networks to facilitate payments through three different options, giving business account holders flexibility.
- Tap to Pay. Customers can tap their physical card or virtual card (Apple Pay, Google Pay) directly to the business's phone.
- Payment Links. Businesses can generate and send unique payment links to customers that then allow the customer to pay via their card in a web-based platform.
- QR Codes. Businesses can display a QR code on their phone screen.
So, how does your business get started? You can enroll directly from the app dashboard inside of BFCU's online/mobile banking platform. After supplying some key business details and agreeing to the merchant agreement, you can submit your application and be verified for eligibility.
